STAZIONE DI IMOLA

YEAR: 2018

CITY: Imola (Bo)

COUNTRY: Italy

CUSTOMER: RFI

Cariboni Group took part in the restyling of the Imola station. Citizens are guaranteed better usability, more security and connectivity.

The project

The works involved the docks with the construction of a shelter and a new sidewalk for track 4, without neglecting the adaptation of those that serve tracks 1 and 2-3. The sidewalks, 55 cm high, are connected to the underpass by fixed stairs and elevators. Subsequently, the redevelopment interventions of the entire building were started, with cleaning of the facades, reconstruction of the roof, replacement of the fixtures and renewal of the waiting room and the underpass.

The ideal solution for linear lighting

Cariboni supplied LED luminaires called Trail Solid Line for lighting railway platforms. Trail Solid Line offers all the advantages of a light line but avoids having to collect the product. The optical system completely eliminates the shaded areas from the illuminated surfaces for a uniform wall washing and the sources selection guarantee the homogeneity of the emitted light and a high color rendering of the materials. The new lighting system has encouraged the achievement of the objectives of energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, enhancement of space and improvement of safety levels.
